As disciples of Christ, we try to let the Holy Spirit transform us into the image of Jesus. The life of Jesus exemplified loving God and loving others. Therefore, we endeavor to profess our love for God and others in our every day lives and in our assemblies.

We believe that spiritual sacrifices (worship) are to be made throughout each day of our lives as disciples of Christ.

• Romans 12:1 – I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
• Hebrews 13:15-16 – Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
• 1 Peter 2:4-5 – As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Our assemblies are part of the practice of offering spiritual sacrifices. We praise God in our assemblies, and we encourage each other to live lives patterned after Jesus outside of our assemblies. God intends for Jesus’ followers to be doers of good. 

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

We desire in our assemblies to do the following:

• Offer sacrifices of praise to God
• Proclaim Jesus death and resurrection by observing communion each week
• Study God’s word and seek application
• Look out for the needs of each other
• Pray for one another
• Show patience, kindness and humility
• Be encouraging
• Help build faithfulness even through difficult circumstances
